Intercollegiate Competitions

Princeton University has a competitive and growing singles team that competes at USFSA Intercollegiate Competitions in the southeast region. In the 2019-2020 season, we placed a team-record of fifth overall in the region. We were excited to compete at both competitions in our section this season: the Liberty Flames Classic (Liberty University) and the Blue Hen Classic (University of Delaware), placing 6th and 5th as a team, respectively.

We also had an all-time high of 12 skaters competing in the intercollegiate competitions in a wide variety of levels and disciplines, ranging from High Beginner / Preliminary to Senior in freestyle, (solo) dance, and team maneuvers.

In 2023, we went to the University of Delaware, which was our first in-person competition since the pandemic. We sent six skaters and finished tenth overall!

We plan to continue expanding our singles team in the coming seasons and welcome skaters of all levels to join us!

Intercollegiate competitions are an opportunity for skaters to compete individually but in a team-driven environment. Skaters earn points for the team for their placement in their individual events and can also compete in the team maneuvers events, which have low, intermediate, and high levels.
